Solana presale Due Diligence Checklist
To judge a presale project, you should not just look at the page design and community popularity. What really needs to be confirmed is the relationship between contracts, funds, issuance and liquidity.
First verify the Mint address and permissions
Cross-check the coin Mint address from the official website, official channel, and block explorer. Check whether Mint Authority and Freeze Authority have been abandoned or controlled by trusted multisig. As long as the address is different, it may be a counterfeit contract.
Confirm the receiving wallet and issuance rules
The presale payment address, token issuance wallet and liquidity wallet should be stated separately. View purchase records, issuance batches, claim time, and handling of unclaimed tokens. Manual issuance must maintain verifiable on-chain transaction records.
Check liquidity, locking and unlocking arrangements
Before going online, the initial liquidity scale, DEX pool address, LP lock-up period and unlocking time should be clarified. Projects that do not have public lock-up certificates or team holding instructions require higher risk discounts.
Connection, signing and authorization are not the same thing
Many wallet risks do not come from the transfer itself, but from the user's failure to distinguish between the three actions of "connecting address", "signing transaction" and "token authorization".
Connected wallets usually only share public addresses
The connection is mainly used to read the public address and balance, which does not mean allowing the project to transfer assets. However, you should still confirm the website domain name, connection source and request content in the wallet pop-up window.
The transfer signature will actually move the assets
Each transfer signature should check the token, amount, payment address, network and handling fee. Once a Solana mainnet transaction is confirmed, it usually cannot be withdrawn. Do not sign directly based on screenshots or customer service prompts.
Token authorization will grant additional transfer permission
SPL token authorization will allow the authorized address to transfer the corresponding tokens up to the approved amount. The token, amount, authorized address and purpose should be checked before authorization, and the authorization should be revoked when not needed. Authorization and ordinary purchase transfers are two different risks.
5 Dimensions of Evaluating the Solana Trading Terminal
The value of a trading terminal does not lie in the complexity of the interface, but in the transparency of execution, risk control, fees and asset control.
Execution quality and failure rate
Observe transaction confirmation time, failure rate, slippage settings, priority fee strategy and performance under extreme market conditions. Showing only successful cases is not enough to demonstrate the quality of execution.
MEV and Slippage Protection
Confirm whether private trading channels, dynamic slippage, maximum fee limits and failure protection are provided. All protection mechanisms should be able to be turned off or adjusted by the user.
Private key and asset control
Prefer non-custodial solutions, private keys should not be uploaded to the server. If you use a robot wallet, you should set up independent small funds, limited authorization and a withdrawal mechanism at any time.
Liquidity and Risk Scan
Check LP lock, Mint permissions, Freeze permissions, token concentration, transaction taxes and suspicious transfers. Risk scanning can only reduce information gaps but cannot eliminate the risk of loss.
Fees and RPC Stability
Check platform fees, network fees, priority fees and token account rentals. Production environments should use stable dedicated RPC and set alarms for rate limiting, disconnection, and retries.
How to avoid fake engagement and Sybil accounts in community activities
If there are no clear evidence and audit rules for reward activities, it is easy for batch accounts, duplicate wallets and fake interactions to occupy the quota, and real participants will lose the opportunity.
Require public disclosure of verifiable evidence of transmission
Links to public posts, community posts, and event posters should be directly accessible. The system can check domain name formats, duplicate submissions and how often the same link is reused by multiple people.
The invitation must be bound to a real presale order
Effective invitations should not only count clicks or registrations, but should be bound to completed and verified presale orders. Prevent the same wallet, same payment source and batch address from receiving rewards repeatedly.
Write down the rules, time and distribution entrance clearly
The participation conditions, review methods, reward distribution and announcement time will be announced before the event starts. After winning, use a checkable distribution record on the chain to avoid verbal commitments and untraceable lists.
